Throughout this website you will find both historic and contemporary photographic images on sale, offered mainly at 1280x1024 pixels. However, other sizes are available which provides wider choice and, of course, flexibility for customers. The collection of contemporary photographs have been captured since the dawn of the digital photographic age and, consequently, the cameras used have changed with the development of new technologies. Currently, I am using the Canon EOS400D which captures images with over 10 million pixels. For those interesting in buying images for use in posters or large prints [e.g. A3] RAW and TIFF images are available for sale with a special licence. Below are a few examples of images so that you can see the quality on offer. These are displayed at 810x540 pixels in order for them to fit on the page - please remember that most downloaded images are bigger than these samples. The general standard is 1280x1024.
