Throughout this website you will find both historic and contemporary photographic images on sale at different sizes. Wherever possible images are offered in four different sizes to provide wider choice and, of course, flexibility for customers. The collection of contemporary photographs have been captured since the dawn of the digital photographic age and, consequently, the cameras used have changed with the development of new technologies. Currently, we are using the Canon EOS400D which captures images with over 10 million pixels. For those interesting in buying images for use in posters or large prints [e.g. A3] RAW and TIFF images are available for sale with a special licence.

This image shows the smallest of JPEG's on offer throughout the site. This size is ideal for those looking for a small image to use on a website. The shot was taken with a Canon EOS400D with the focus on the boxer, blurring the trees in the background in order to make the dog really stand out.

Please note: you do not need such massive size images for webpages or indeed for images to be used in books and magazines.

Real photograph postcards are better than printed postcards - this one is fairly average, not that sharp as the original photograph wasn't particularly great. However, it is fairly representative of the standard. This size of photograph would be ideal for use as a half page book item. At 800x515 pixels, the photograph could also be used in a presentation. Like all other images, we can make all sizes to suit your needs.
