Repton - Tudor Lodge |
Located on Repton's High Street, the timber-framed Tudor Lodge
is thought to date from the late 16th century. In the Victorian
period the Burton Bank established a tiny branch in the front
room of this house. It was dubbed the 'Penny-a-Week’
Savings Bank. The shape of the building was the inspiration for
the neighbouring
Star Inn. |
