A view of the Post Office and adjoining Spar shop fronting the
High Street at Repton. Between the two buildings [to the right
of the post box and above the blue gate] is a revolving spike, a
fragment of the old bridge at Willington that was to deter
people from avoiding the toll to cross the river.
